As a highly specialised industrial company, Collini has been dealing with surfaces for over 120 years.
In the surface coating of metals and plastics, Collini is the leading group of companies in Europe and operates production sites in Austria, Germany, Italy, Russia, Mexico and Switzerland. The Collini competence centres cover the entire range of coating solutions from electroplating, anodising, hot-dip galvanising to powder coating. At the Marchtrenk site, special attention is also paid to cathodic dip coating.
Collini, headquartered in Hohenems, employs around 1600 people from over 50 nations at 13 locations.
Quality optimisation through BUPI CLEANER® paint stripping system
Within the framework of the comprehensive certified quality management system, all processes at Collini are integrated into an overall system to meet customer requirements and increase customer satisfaction. In this context, the manual, dust and labour-intensive sanding technology was converted to an innovative paint stripping system for a sustainable increase in quality, efficiency and process reliability.
The central requirements on the part of Collini were the general orientation towards quality, efficiency and cost. In particular, the service life extension of the hangers by preventing material wear and the improvement of the energy balance achieve the savings in the long term.
For Manuel Kaim, site manager at Collini Marchtrenk, the convincing cleaning tests at the BUPI Golser headquarters in Hallein, in addition to the proven experience and technical expertise of more than 14,000 BUPI CLEANER® systems sold, provided a sound basis for the decision. The technical functionality and successful implementation of the order’s requirement criteria were also confirmed to our complete satisfaction during the preliminary acceptance test at BUPI.
